Professional Mentoring of Qualified Students in Mediation and Leadership

Our Professional Mentoring Program is designed to bridge the gap between academic training and practical professional experience for students and graduates pursuing careers in Mediation, Leadership, and Conflict Transformation.

Through one-on-one mentorship, shadowing opportunities, and guided learning experiences, participants gain firsthand exposure to real-world mediation and leadership practice. Each mentee is paired with a seasoned practitioner who provides continuous guidance, ethical grounding, and professional growth support.

We emphasize character development, competence, and community impact, ensuring that our mentees not only gain technical skills but also embody the values of empathy, justice, and service. Graduates of this program emerge as confident facilitators, change agents, and ethical leaders ready to contribute meaningfully to Africa’s peace and leadership landscape.

In partnership with universities, professional bodies, and peace organizations, GAMLI continues to mentor the next generation of African mediators and transformative leaders.
